What is it?
Bulk Uploading allows you to create and schedule multiple posts at once by uploading a single CSV file. This is ideal for users managing a high volume of content and looking to save time by planning posts in advance.
How does it work?
You can access Bulk Uploading by clicking the New Post button in:
The Dashboard
The Calendar View
The List View
Once selected, you’ll upload a CSV file that matches the required format. The system will validate your file and:
Accept valid posts
Flag incompatible rows as drafts
Reject the upload entirely if critical errors are found
The process consists in three steps: upload the CSV file, convert the CSV file into posts, review your created posts.
Requirements:
You must have fewer than 250 scheduled posts in the calendar
CSV must be ≤ 60 rows
File size must be ≤ 200 KB
Posts must be scheduled at least 30 minutes after upload time
30-minute intervals between each scheduled post
The time zone used is based on the calendar settings
Media URLs must come from your Loomly Media Library
File Format Notes:
File must be in CSV format
Column headers must match the official Loomly Bulk Upload template. You will be able to download the CSV file by following the instruction on screen
Upload may be rejected if:
Date is missing, invalid, in the past, or within 30 minutes of upload
Headers don’t match the template
File exceeds 60 rows or 200 KB
Labels entered don’t exist
More than 10 media files are added
Media URL doesn’t point to an item in the Loomly Media Library
You’ve hit your post, row, or file size limits
Rows may be saved as drafts (instead of scheduled) if:
Platform-specific issues occur (e.g., incompatible media for the selected platform)
Pinterest, YouTube, or Google My Business are selected, but user doesn’t have permission
You’re using a Contributor role without scheduling permissions
No connected social media accounts are present for the selected platforms
Publishing time is less than 30 minutes after upload
