Can I tag and @mention users from Loomly?

1. Tag users on images

Here's how to tag users on your Instagram images:

  • In the Fine-Tune Content step, click on the gear icon next to the image to open Media Settings

  • Click the Tag Users button

  • Click anywhere on the image, type in the handle, and then press enter. Repeat for any other users you'd like to tag or switch to other images in your post to tag additional users.

 

📝 Note: You can tag up to 20 public Instagram accounts on any Instagram image post.

 

2. @Mention users in your caption

You can @mention users on the following channels in the Fine-Tune Content step of Post Builder: 

  • Facebook

  • X/Twitter

  • Pinterest

  • LinkedIn

  • TikTok

  • Threads

Once you've typed in @ followed by the user handle, make sure to select the correct account name from the populated results. Once selected, any @mentions will be highlighted in green. You can click the link in the preview to double check the account you mentioned.

 

 

Here are some further details on tagging users with Loomly:

  • @mention suggestions aren't supported by Instagram, Threads, TikTok, or X/Twitter. You'll need to type in the exact @username.

     

  • For Facebook, you can only @mention other Facebook pages in Loomly due to limitations with the API and what Meta allows.

     

  • There are two API limitations surrounding LinkedIn profile mentions:

    • Profile @mentions are only available for LinkedIn pages

    • The profile you @mention must follow your page

       

  • @mentions added in the Generic Content step will not be published since @mentions are channel-specific and you will need to tag users and accounts in the Fine-Tune Content step.
